With roughly 30% of Ukraine’s territory affected by combat operations, an area equivalent to the size of England and Wales combined, vast regions are now riddled with dangerous landmines. Clearing these landmines is a crucial step in ensuring Ukraine’s recovery and safety, but it requires advanced technology to make the process faster and safer.
We are working alongside the Demine Foundation to raise funds for cutting-edge drone technology equipped with sensors for landmine detection. These drones will use hyperspectral imaging for soil health analysis and landmine detection, as well as other advanced tools like multispectral and infrared imaging to gather real data, images, and forensic evidence of landmines across affected areas.
