UAID International started with a team of people who had more than a decade of experience in volunteering for various non-profit and charitable organisations in the UK. Their diverse skills allowed them to work effectively and efficiently. Before UAID International was established, they jointly oversaw and coordinated over 100 projects, cultural and fundraising events.
The group's volunteers, all dedicating their time to charity projects alongside their day jobs, have been engaged in humanitarian and medical initiatives for Ukraine since 2014. They've also facilitated connections between UK charity groups and their Ukrainian counterparts. Their mission is rooted in the belief in the power of civil society and the volunteer movement, united in the goal of supporting Ukrainians to overcome the challenges of war and thrive in an independent and prosperous Ukraine.
UAID International is committed to providing life-saving aid to individuals who have been physically, psychologically, or socially impacted by war in Ukraine. Our support extends to:
-
Equipping Medical Evacuation Vehicles
-
Supporting Demining Operations
-
Providing Rehabilitation Services
-
Offering Assistance for Children in Ukraine
-
Aid for the Displaced
These efforts are geared towards addressing the immediate needs of those affected by the war and facilitating their recovery and integration into society.

UAID International is committed to providing immediate, direct, life-saving aid to individuals affected by the war, while also establishing the platform for sustainable support in the future. We are working closely with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to closely monitor critical shortages and needs.
We gather information about individuals, groups, and organisations in need of medical and humanitarian aid directly from our contacts on the ground. For each case, we carefully select the most appropriate venues for aid provision.
Examples of our activities include procuring and delivering essential First Aid Kits and ambulances, sourcing and distributing medical supplies and specialised equipment, covering medical treatment costs for those in need, and arranging consultations with UK medical specialists for both medical treatment and psychological rehabilitation.
Additionally, we procure and distribute humanitarian aid to organisations and individuals and provide support to displaced individuals requiring medical and humanitarian assistance. Our project portfolio remains dynamic, continuously adapting to the evolving needs of the wounded and displaced individuals, ensuring that our operations remain responsive to changing demands.
UAID International addresses each case individually. Firstly, we identify individuals in need of medical assistance by contacting hospitals in Ukraine directly and confirming their identity with local Ukrainian volunteers. Secondly, we establish the details of their medical condition. Thirdly, we determine the specific support required, whether it be prosthetics, eye treatment equipment, negative pressure wound therapy equipment, and so on. Lastly, we cover the expenses for the necessary equipment or the costs of physical or mental rehabilitation treatment.
UAID International is a non-profit company registered as LTD under the registration number 15646979.
