Artist: Mariya Shub

Mariia Shub is a production designer and art director with over 20 years of experience in film, theatre, and television. She graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv and the Kyiv College of Art and Design. Her work includes award-winning films such as Blindfold (Best Film at the 2020 Warsaw IFF), Lucky Girl, and the documentary Tales of a Toy Horse. She has created scenography for numerous theatre productions and visual art installations. Mariia has participated in many exhibitions and currently lives and works in London, combining her creative practice with teaching and art therapy projects.
