Artist: Andriy Andriyashchenko
Born and educated in Odesa, Andriy later moved to Donetsk after meeting his future wife. There, he spent most of his life painting—primarily creating monumental murals in public institutions, shops, and churches. A deeply spiritual person, his work reflects a desire to share the message that God offers hope and light to all who follow Him.
He remained in Donetsk until 2024 to care for a close friend battling cancer. In late 2024, he moved to Cheltenham to reunite with his family.
Inspired by the natural surroundings and local architecture, all of the works on view at the ZEMLIA exhibit were created in Cheltenham over the past two months.
