About the event
Please join us in supporting Ukraine and Ukrainians who fight for their lives, their country and the freedom of the whole civilized world. You can show your support by attending the ‘Music To The Rescue’ recital of Anna Starushkevych (mezzo-soprano) and Anna Demianchuk (pianist).
All raised funds will be used to supply Ukrainians with the very much needed medical equipment and therefore, help to save lives. In their attempt, as artists, to defy this war, the performers have prepared the programme to be a manifestation of beauty, goodness and hope.
You will hear vocal pieces and some solo piano music by Bach, Handel, Thomas, Rossini, Byrd, Britten, Dove and Ukrainian composers Nyzhankivsky, Filtz, Shamo and Kolodub. In between the pieces Anna Starushkevych will share some great facts from the history of Ukraine.
Light will win over darkness! Ukraine will thrive again!
