About the event
On the first anniversary of Ukraine's full-scale invasion, we invite you to celebrate the richness of the Ukrainian cultural tradition. Two outstanding musicians - Ukrainian-born violinist Myroslava Khomik and Finnish pianist Julia Wallin - will take you on an artistic journey through Ukraine.
This special programme is about letting the audience discover Ukraine's talents and treasures and take a cultural and musical walk through the country which is now fighting for its freedom.
Music programme will feature compositions by the gewels of the Ukrainian musical tradiion including Berezovskyi, Lysenko, Bortkevych, Kosenko, Yakymenko, Barvinskyi, and Skoryk.
All proceeds of the concert will be donated to support relief and rescue operations in Ukraine.
