For ONE NIGHT ONLY, The Royal Scots invite you to “Muse Ukraine: Indomitable Spirit'' which presents an all-Ukrainian music programme, unveiling the long-lost gems of the musical and cultural heritage of Ukraine. Rising above the multitude of difficult historic times, past and present, this music honours the indomitable spirit of those who stand for the basis of humanity - a life in freedom and peace.
“Muse Ukraine: Indomitable Spirit” is a project of an ongoing collaboration between two artists, Ukrainian-American violinist Myroslava Khomik and Finnish-British pianist Julia Wallin, who believe that the power of music can serve as the best communicative tool in most challenging times. They dedicate their unique programs to a message that serves a deeper purpose of cultural diplomacy, education, conversation and understanding of common values.
