FILM SCREENING & INFORMAL TALK WITH RYMMA ZYUBINA – SUNDAY 22 APRIL 2018 @UKRCLUB @ 4:00-6:30 PM FREE

Film Screening of “The Nest of the Turtledove” (2016) followed by an informal talk with Rymma Zyubina, an actress, an activist & one of the most admirable women in Ukraine.

This event is supported by the AUGB (London branch) & the Embassy of Ukraine and sponsored by the law firm Sterling & Law Associates LLP.

Rymma Zyubina will talk about her recent leading role in “The Nest of the Turtledove” where she played Daryna, a Ukrainian woman returning home after several years of working illegally in Italy. The talk will explore a wide range of complex issues around immigration and gender, as well as the ways migration affects both the family and society more generally.

Donations are welcome. All funds raised during this event will go towards British-Ukrainian Aid’s humanitarian and medical aid projects.
