About the event
We're delighted to be able to display Tetyana Frey's "Echoes of Conflict" collection of artwork on artillery debris as part of the Cheltehnam International Film Festival on 13-22 September.
Beyond the visual impact, the collection prompts contemplation about the role of art in times of crisis. Tetyana Frey's decision to paint on artillery debris is a deliberate act of reclaiming agency, transforming instruments of violence into symbols of resilience and creativity. This transformative process mirrors the broader potential of art to inspire change, foster empathy, and ignite conversations about peace and reconciliation.
"Echoes of Conflict" stands as a powerful testament to the transformative power of art in the face of adversity. It invites viewers to engage with the narratives of resilience woven into each brushstroke, encouraging reflection on the universal pursuit of peace and the enduring human spirit even in the most challenging of circumstances.
Everybody is welcome!
