Born in 1965 in Krasnyi Luch, Ukraine, Serhii’s journey has taken him across continents - from serving as an aviation mechanic in the Soviet army to seeking a new life in Argentina and Ireland. In 2017-2018, he fought against russian invaders in the east of Ukraine, an experience that deeply influenced his writing.
He is the author of several thought-provoking books, including the "Heroes of Modernity" and his philosophical fiction trilogy: "The Flight of the Butterfly," "The Gaze of the Crow," and "The Step of the Wolf."
The talk will be moderated by a journalist, and royal and history of art expert Yaroslava Matveyenko.
